that part of the tutorial really isn’t required. you don’t HAVE to go to that folder. just remove the program, and end the processes. if you do that, you basically killed antivirus.
however, if you don’t follow that tutorial, you’ll get a little message every time you restart your computer. it’s nothing really. just press X on the message and it goes away
plz help I have the same prob! send a message about the same thing that kazka has cuz i still see the icons at the start menu shortcuts area i do NOT want to break our brand new computer we got for xmas!!!!
Ok wait a seck. I followed u all da way up 2
2:40 cuz when I went undr software there was no Antivirus thing there. It just listed other prgrams so does that mean i permanantly removed it or something bad. im confused plz reply asap antivirus is ruining my internet.

press the windows key, and R at the same time.
( the windows key is inbetween ctrl and alt )
and type %temp%. now scroll thru the list of files until you see the antivirus 2009 logo.
remember the filename, and press ctrl+alt+del
now click “processes” and find that filename that you saw erlier. when you find it, click on it and press “end process”. it disables the virus file and you can delete it.
Oh now I have problem I cant go on any page when I click on something to go in like games or something it opens another virus that says security scan can you help me please
right click on your desktop, and select “create shortcut”. type ” gpedit.msc ”
and run it. now you can get to the program seen in the video, and re-enable task manager
A pop-up came up once. I was trying to download a file, and it linked to a message saying, “Your computer may be at risk! Do you want a free virus scan?” Then I clicked No and it still went to the AV2009 page. When I tried to exit out, it still wanted me to download it. Good thing I used command prompt to close it, finishing with an emergency scan from AVG. But if all else fails, I know where to come!

make sure that you NEVER run antivirus 2009 again, or else it restarts itself. delete the virus shortcut so you don’t run it
try going to “search” and find it there.

Why do you need to delete antivirus 09?
Gee, thanks for the tips!
if you ever see one of those pop-ups, just press the red X button at the top of the screen.
viruses can actually disguise the “cancel” button as the OK button. you might be pressing cancel, but it’s actually OK
