Apple Removes Antivirus Software Recommendation For Mac Computers

After Apple suggested that all Mac users run an antivirus program to make sure their computers are free of viruses, the company retracted that suggestion. The suggestion was found on the company’s knowledge base as a result of a support ticket. According to Apple, running multiple antivirus programs on Macs is not very smart, and they have removed the suggestion from their help section on their site. “We have removed the KnowledgeBase article because it was old and inaccurate,” Apple spoke
