//PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR A BETTER QUALITY VIDEO!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYZslFrFUcs&fmt=18
IF THAT IS NOT ENOUGH PLEASE MAKE IT FULL SCREEN!
This video was made on a Laptop with 1.6Ghz Processor, 512 MB RAM, carrying Windows Vista Ultimate as OS. This computer also does areo, very smoothly. Originally memory would be around 445 MB, but now it decreased all the way to 250 MB and less.
******WARNING!*******
If you have an App that starts with your OS and it’s heavily integrated in in Windows, DO NOT DISABLE IT. Examples of these apps are like security apps like Norton, McAfee, Antivirus/Firewalss in general.

IF ANY PROBLEMS RISE, RE-ENABLE ALL THE SERVICES THAT YOU DISABLED.

Alright to all the whiners. This is a very bad guide. Yes, its true. Disabling all services is a bad idea. Disabling some of the services will make your computer run faster. For those of you who just listened to the video and do not know how to edit advanced system functions you should have done the following. 1. Don’t fuck with it. Frankly its the safest option. 2. Call the technical support that comes with your computer and ask how to optimize your operating system.
or just buy a bettter PC! No need to do all this with my Q6600 and 6GB RAM!
you can also type in %temp% and then when it appears delete all the deletable tempararyfiles
fck this i did now my dsl dnt wrk now i hav to use wireless to connect
just defrag your comp with the one it comes with.
in search just type in defragmentation and it should come up. it makes files more compact somehow and makes your comp faster.
also, hibernate isnt exactly a good option. try not to use it too much. trust me, ive learnt
as i found out by a computer technician
tank you dude !
if u disble everything well it woudnt run GOOD AND FAST. u need to keep microsoft operating system. and your virus protection and thins for the internet
nice song
anti-viruses probably eat more system resources per day than viruses
If it messes something up just go back in and check the stuff again.
I was hoping for something new =(
He says that in the description.
dude you dont just disable stuff your supposed to keep antiviruses and the system so your pc goes faster.
ur retarded ur basicially disabling useful things as if its not useful it wont even be checked
thx…
Will this have any irreversible side effects?
thanks man.
Also, don’t just turn off everything this guy did unless you know you won’t use the item. All lot of these things are very usefull to people who don’t know much about Windows.
Document everything you do. If you buy a firewire device a year from now, and forget that you’ve turned off the service today, you’ll have to do a lot of troubleshooting to get it to work.
On the Vista start Menu, the “search” thing at the bottom on the left hand side, under frequently used programmes, can be used as a run thing.
If you prefer the look of the old style start menu, open your start menu, right click on any free space - the space right beside your user avatar should work - and click on the properties box that comes up. Choose the Start Menu tab and choose Classic Start Menu and hit apply. If you choose Customize, you can add the Run Command to your start menu.
